Snowball Express honors the children of our fallen military heroes who have died since 9/11. For the last three years, we have held annual four day, all-expense paid holiday events, bringing children together for a time of healing and being with other children like themselves. In 2008, they came from both around the country and around the world (47 states and six foreign countries). Well over 1000 children have benefited from the work of thousands of volunteers who help make these unique Snowball events a reality. In addition, local Snowflake events are on-going throughout the year, which gives communities even more opportunities to show these children they’re not forgotten.
